Agile Class Week 16: Embracing an Agile Mindset

We are done with our team project, which is creating a card game, but I will never stop learning Agile Methodology. I did embrace the agile mindset, especially the idea of "Self-Organizing Team", a group of motivated individuals, who work together toward a goal, have the ability and authority to take decisions and readily adapt to changing demands. I think, that's the reason why our class was able to produce a good output and deliver it on time, because we are a good example of a Self-Organizing Team.

We were able to use agile methodology while doing our project with the help of our instructor. He assigned one of our classmates to be our Product Owner who really did well in defining and prioritizing the work that needs to be completed, and he also spent a lot of time in making sure that he knows what project is expected to be delivered.

Some of us experienced to be a Scrum Master who is responsible of making sure that everyone on the project can focus on their work without any distractions, and who is also the one updating the burndown chart at the end of each sprint.

Lastly, we are all part of the Development Team. Everybody was really good in whatever task assigned to him/her. We had a really great team work. Each of us was enjoying what he/she was doing. We all showed trust and respect to each other. We were not afraid to make changes to improve our work or processes.
